Eclipse Season- Portals

A portal is an energetic doorway or bridge between different realms, dimensions, or states of consciousness.

There are a few ways to take into this magic during the eclipse!

Natural vortexes: Travel to places in nature like old forests, mountains, or earth energy lines.

Physical tools: Doing rituals with tools like black obsidian mirrors, scrying bowls, or crystal balls.

Inner gateways: The human mind and body acting as a threshold for deep meditation and astral travel. Third eye chakra meditation are very useful!

Eclipse Season-North/South Nodes

North and South Nodes are the mathematical points where the Moon's orbit crosses the Earth's path around the Sun. This is why it’s such an activating time during Eclipse Season. They form an opposite axis representing your karmic path: the South Node shows your past habits and comfort zones, while the North Node shows your future growth and life purpose.

North Node (☊): Called the "head of the dragon," it shows the new traits, risks, and lessons you are meant to learn and grow toward in this life.

What is your soul purpose?

Are you living a life of becoming who you are ment to be?

South Node (☋): Called the "tail of the dragon," it reveals your natural talents, inherited traits, and comfortable default patterns that you should use as a base rather than cling to.

Are you holding on the old you because it’s comfortable?

What did you learn in the past that is helpful in this life?

Growth requires moving away from the safety of the South Node and stepping into the unfamiliar energy of the North Node.

Eclipse Season- Threshold

One of the major themes of the time from the New Moon (August 12) to the full moon (August 27) is the threshold space! A starting point where something changes, begins, or takes effect. What are you becoming?? What are you leaving behind that no longer serves your purpose? Are you excited, nervous, anxious, happy or scared? Can you pinpoint why??

Lughnasadh Ritual and Lugh Games will take place August 1st at 4pm at the Fort Bragg Open Circle ritual site. The games are a cross between the Nordic and Celtic games played by ancient peoples. Knife throwing, axe throwing, bow and arrow shooting, log toss, pole push, and sword (soft sword) fights. Food is pot luck style!
