If your dad is anything like ours, his idea of "relaxing" on the weekend usually involves a trip to the hardware store and a list of to-dos around the house. When summer arrives, life gets busy, and that list of chores can start to pile up.

Around Fort Atkinson, a lot of folks know the Cloute name. You have either worked with the Cloute family in some capacity, or you have seen our trucks driving down the road, or you've seen our crews outside a neighbor's house. For us, this business has always been about family.

Cloute was founded in 1953 with a simple idea: we do honest work, we treat people right, and we don't cut corners. Three generations later, we still operate on those same principles.

With Father’s Day coming up this weekend, we've been thinking a lot about the lessons that have been passed down through the family. Not just how to hold a brush or a powerwasher correctly—but what it means to take pride in your community and take care of the people in your life.
