I never thought, 14 years ago, that my shop would even remotely include the connection of human spirit across time and space. As I start my work day on this solar eclipse new moon day, I pause to reflect on how my identity as a shop owner has evolved over time, what identities I want to shed, and which ones I choose to claim with power today. Especially as a Leo ascendant with the Sun in Leo at the time of my birth, the solar eclipse in Leo, at the south node of the moon, holds deep significance.
The love we all share in this community transforms more than I even always realize on a daily basis. The messages I am privy to from many of you bring me to tears, in the best of ways. Love molds us in the most magical and sacred ways. The force that we all wield through simply holding space for one another will live on after we pass through the veil.
When we talk about abundance in the craft, it references more than just monetary prosperity. Abundance resides in the relationships we foster, the community we engender, and the inner growth we build, brick by brick. Our power of manifesting the life we all desire and deserve expands the more we settle into the path and the place in which we were all meant to exist. Sometimes this creates an overwhelming an unexplainable sense of peace. Sit with that and allow that feeling to hold the wisdom and transformation needed for the journey ahead.
I may be a fiber arts and crafts shop, I may hope to sell fabric, yarn, patterns, kits, thread, scissors, paint kits, diamond art, and the list goes on, but what I actually represent with my shop transcends that retail purpose.
If you haven’t felt what I’ve been delineating in this post, I encourage you to join us when I livestream on WhatNot and to join my Patreon community (and by extension, Discord). I encourage you to stop in person to the shop if you are ever in the area. We embody the word family.
