Now in his 26th year of performing, Lee has quite literally been a performer his whole life. When Lee created his clown character, Lew-E, at the age of three, he had no idea that it would turn into his career. Lee has been blessed to be able to travel the world performing in almost ever entertainment venue imaginable! Lee has now found his niche of performing for the fair industry nationwide and p
erforming at libraries across the southeast. Lee grew up on the carnival lots of the McNair Amusement company. Hugh McNair and his daughter, Lisa McNair, took Lee under their wing to teach him the ropes of the carnival business. In 2004, at the age of 12, Lee was hired to perform at his first state fair as Lew-E the Clown. He has since that time spent every second on every fairgrounds he has worked, learning ways to make his show one of the most enjoyable experiences a fairgoer will have at their fair. Lee doesn’t just see a fair board as a client, Lee views them as partners, and it is his job to make sure his partners get the most out of his services so that patrons return through their gates year after year. In 2011, after leaving the Circus full-time, Lee began performing heavily in the Library market during the summer months. Lee has honed in on how to write, create, and perform engaging reading programs that not only children love but the parents love just as much. Lee credits many of his performance accomplishments to his librarian clients, because they each had a hand in molding his unique performance style. Places you might have seen Lee:
