Fun fact time 🤣

Did you know that the iconic sound of the TIE Fighter engine in Star Wars is actually just a muffled elephant call mixed with a car driving on a wet pavement?

Sound designer Ben Burtt created the legendary roar by taking the shriek of an angry elephant and stretching it out, layering it with the swoosh of a car speeding down a rainy highway.

T Minus 190 days til Raincon 2026. Mark your calendars 😂

Fun fact for the Day 🤯🤯🤯

Superman couldn't originally fly. In his 1938 debut, his powers were strictly grounded-he could
"leap tall buildings in a single bound," but he always had to come back down.

The shift to flight actually happened because of the 1940s animated cartoons. The artists at Fleischer Studios found it tedious and visually clunky to animate him constantly crouching and jumping across the screen. They asked DC for permission to let him just glide through the air to save on animation time and effort. It looked so much more graceful that the comics eventually adopted it as his permanent power.

Happy Star Wars Day 🎆

Whatever your plans are, may the Fourth be with you! 🌌⚔️

It’s officially Star Wars Day. 🌌

Which means the internet is doing the most with:
“May the 4th be with you”
and pretending they didn’t say it out loud in the mirror this morning. 😭

Be honest… are you actually a Star Wars fan… or just here for the memes?

Folks may be interested in this way to get your name "out there," courtesy of NASA and the Artemis II Mission.

For some reason, it is not displaying the NASA website. It is a way to add your name to a disk that will be traveling with Artemis. After completing the entry, you receive a digital boarding pass.
