Harbor Stage Theatre Company simply wouldn't exist without Michael's vision, passion, and countless hours of dedication. From the very beginning, he's poured his heart into creating a place where artists can grow, audiences can connect, and stories can come to life.

Whether he's directing, set designing, choreographing, costume designing, acting, singing, building sets, solving problems behind the scenes, or inspiring EVERYONE around him, his commitment to this company is unmatched.

Today, we celebrate not only his birthday, but the incredible impact he's had on Harbor Stage and everyone who's been part of this journey.

As the curtain closes on Harbor Lights: Stories From the Edge of the Stage, our hearts are full.

To everyone who joined us this weekend—thank you for spending your time with us, for supporting local theatre, and for helping create the magic that only happens when artists and audiences come together in the same room. Your laughter, tears, applause, and generosity reminded us why live theatre matters.

To our incredible cast: thank you for sharing your talent, vulnerability, and passion. You brought these stories to life with honesty and heart, creating an experience that will stay with us long after the final bow.

To our dedicated crew: thank you for the countless hours, hard work, and commitment that made this production possible. The audience sees the finished product, but we know the extraordinary effort it takes to get there.

💡 Favorite Musical: Hadestown

🎤 Go-to- Audition song: My audition song choices usually change depending on what show I am auditioning for, but a song that has always meant a lot to me is “Who I’d Be” from Shrek The Musical.

⭐ Dream Role: Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

😂 Worst Audition Fail: When I was about 10 years old, my mom was driving me to audition for Guys and Dolls Jr., and I got so nervous that I started crying and didn’t even go in. It’s funny looking back now, especially because my next show is Guys and Dolls at Surflight Theatre, where I’ll be playing Nicely-Nicely Johnson

⭐ Dream Role: I’ve always wanted to do Aunt Mame so the dream musical role would have to be Mame. And yet, I also want to play Margo Channing, so Applause

😂 Worst Audition Fail: The time I was so thrown out of balance that my voice came out as a croak.

💡 Favorite Musical (currently): Ragtime, Company, Into the Woods, Merrily We Roll Along and Mamma Mia

🎤 Go-to- Audition song: Depends on the show and the style of the music in the show! Past favorites though are “If I Loved You” from Carousel, “Home” from Beauty and the Beast, and “Not A Day Goes By” from Merrily

⭐ Dream Role: There’s so many (and I talk about one during the show) but I recently saw Ragtime and would LOVE to play Mother when I’m a little bit older. Others are Jenna from Waitress, Maria in the Sound of Music, or The Fairy Godmother from Cinderella.
