Our teacher Sabah Saeed
Sabah has 20+ years of classical dance training in ballet, pointe work, modern, jazz and culturally specific dance styles.
She has trained with professional ballet companies including Boston Ballet, Houston Ballet, ABT, and Pacific Northwest Ballet on full scholarship. She was a member of professional dance companies including Momenta, Chicago's Festival Ballet Company and The Alabama Ballet. Her main mentors in Chicago have been Sherry Moray owner of The Academy of Dance Arts and Homer Bryant owner of Chicago's Multicultural Center.
Sabah has performed with professional productions of The Nutcracker for 10 consecutive years from 1991-2001.
She attended The American University in Cairo in 2004 and performed with the universities folkloric troupe in Egypt and France.
Sabah was hired as the master belly dance teacher for Kramhusid in Iceland for two consecutive 6 week courses in 2005 and 2006.
Sabah is an experienced entertainer working as a belly dancer for corporate events, cultural festivals, banquet halls, and special events all over the Chicagoland area. She loves to collaborate with other professionals and for 8 years traveled the world performing in theaters with the Bellydance Superstars touring company.

Our teacher Angelina dancer Genova!
Angelina was trained under renowned Master Performer, Instructor, Choreographer and the Co-author of The Art of Belly Dancing, Dahlena whom she has been graced by having as mother.

Angelina has been teaching Belly Dancing for 12 years. She has taught Cabaret, Folkloric and Spanish Fusion, particularly in the Dahlena Method, since 2001.

Angelina leads a small dance troupe who performs traditional, folkloric and Modern Belly Dancing in the Chicago area.

Angelina has also taught Children's Belly Dancing - to age 7-14 for six summers, at the Belle Plaine Dance Studio in Chicago. At The Belle Plaine Summer Art Camp Angelina taught the girls choreography, how to choreograph, count music, use props, write choreography, solo dance and how to teach each other.
