To Our Beloved BABS Community~
As many of you know, Chase and I have experienced many deep losses in the past several months. We’ve lost Charlie & Sophie, the dogs that filled our home with love & tippy-taps for the past 18 years (the entirety of our marriage). Chase has lost his only sibling to cancer, and his beloved grandma passed as well.
Between the construction time lost on vet visits and flying to TX for funerals, paired with the sometimes paralyzing quality of grief, we’re giving ourselves an extra month to breathe through this buildout. I’m very grateful that I have the privilege as the sole owner of BABS to choose my husband’s and my peace and emotional well-being over looming deadlines and mounting stress. So many people don’t have the luxury of choosing a walk on a sunny day over hard physical labor while actively grieving. In that respect we’re very lucky.
Therefore will now be reopening the week of Oct 18th with our Grand Reopening shows on October 23rd & 24th— the weekend of our 2 Year Anniversary!
Fortunately, since we don’t utilize the bar during our Improv or Comedy Writing classes, we’ll still be beginning both workshops as scheduled, Sept 23rd & 24th.
