Today we lost one of the great sculptors. John Henry was a mentor to many young artists. Having had the chance to work along side a legend in the field of sculpture will always be one of my core memories. We connected on several of his trips to Baltimore and those touch points had an immediate and profound effect on my career. Through the partnership with his wife, Pamela, John and his team designed and built monumental sculptures around the world. Their passion was to enrich the community through his craft and The park in Chattanooga is a great legacy to have left behind. Thank you for your candor and your demand for hard work. Rest easy sir.
