MUST WATCH: NC resident was REMOVED from an Iredell-Statesville school board meeting after exposing sexually explicit books available to CHILDREN.

Board Chair Doug Knight wouldn’t let him read the material aloud because it was “nasty,” yet the books are available in the school library.

Marines with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, on Day 1 of Operation Moshtarak — Marjah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan | February 13, 2010. (PART 2)

As the fighting continues, Bravo Marines move out of their exposed position and into a nearby mud-walled compound, where they establish a hasty defensive position. Marines punch firing ports through the compound walls and set up machine-gun positions as Taliban fighters continue to engage them from the surrounding area.

Believing the fighters engaging them have been killed, Bravo attempts to resume its advance toward its objectives. The Marines soon come under fire again and are forced back into the compound. Six hours into the fighting, Bravo remains surrounded and has yet to secure any of its objective buildings.

As the firefight continues, a helicopter arrives nearby to conduct an emergency medical evacuation while Marines provide security around the landing zone. Taliban fighters fire a rocket toward the aircraft but miss, allowing the helicopter to depart safely.

With Bravo still unable to push forward, Capt. Ryan Sparks orders Anti-Personnel Obstacle Breaching Systems (APOBS) to be brought forward to clear the area ahead. The rocket-projected explosive charges are fired and detonated, clearing a route through suspected mines and obstacles as Bravo prepares to continue its advance deeper into Marjah.

No jokes today. 🇺🇸

LCpl Landon Tyler Dunn, 20, of Greenville, AL, was a Marine legal services specialist at MCAS Cherry Point. On Aug 22, 2026, he was killed in a crash on I-85 in Montgomery, AL while heading home to see his family and girlfriend.

His friend and fellow Marine Robert Howard set up a GoFundMe for Landon's mom, Melissa Dunn, to help with funeral costs and the family's ongoing needs. It's at $23,108 of $24,000. That's only $892 to go.

This page is full of people who know what it means to lose one of our own. If everyone who laughed at a meme here this week threw in a few bucks, we'd finish this tonight. If you can't give, share it. Every share helps.
