At Leighton Dance Project, we offer a nurturing environment where learning and growth are always the first priority. We value discipline and technique as crucial components of dance instruction but believe that the passion and spirit behind this training must be constantly nourished as well. We celebrate dance as a tremendously powerful art form and therefore seek to provide a complete and well-ro

unded education to any dancer who seeks to obtain it. We strive to cultivate an atmosphere of camaraderie and respect, where students can succeed amidst the support of those who share in their passion. We especially hope to instill in our students the drive to accomplish their goals and anticipate the moments when we can witness and share in their triumph. The faculty at LDP is committed to building a solid foundation from the ground up, with clear goals and expectations from day one. Classes are taught by a cohesive, highly qualified, and professional staff whose utmost priority is to see that each student fulfill his or her highest potential.

A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT🖤💫

Our very own, Samuel Shadows, was a finalist in the Dance Educators Collective Choreographers Cup, and making it even more special, six LDP alumni danced in his piece!

These dancers are different ages, graduated in different years, and their paths after LDP have all looked a little different. And yet, they’re still connected and sharing the stage together.

Watching Sam create work and seeing our alumni come together to bring it to life was incredibly special, and such a beautiful reminder that the relationships and love of dance built in the studio can reach far beyond its walls.

What an incredible moment. What an incredible legacy.

We are so proud of you, Sam, and so proud of every one of our LDP alumni up on that stage✨

A huge thank you to Dance Educators Collective for providing these opportunities for young choreographers, and a big congratulations to the top 3 choreographers, LIV3LIHOOD, sawyer, and Bella Mills 👏👏
