We open Midsummer tomorrow! Here is some important information to enjoy your outdoor theatre experience to the fullest:
WHERE 📍
This year, the show is performing at Wakamatsu Farm in Placerville.
The event address is: 941 Cold Springs Road, Placerville, 95667
Volunteers will be guiding parking once you enter the main gates. There is a suggested donation of $10 for parking (Cash of QR pay). This donation benefits American River Conservancy.
WHEN ⏰
Gates open early at 5:00 pm for parking as well as wine and food purchase.
Check-in and seating open at 6:00 pm. Seating is general admission, “Shakespeare in the park” style, with blankets and lounge chairs. Seating is first come first serve, so if you have seating preferences, consider arriving early.
All shows start at 7:00 pm. The current run time for the show is about 2.5 hours with a 15-minute intermission, so be prepared to leave the event in the later evening, around 9:30 - 9:45 pm.
WHAT TO BRING 🪑🧺
A folding chair (camping chair, lawn chair) or blanket. There will not be chairs at the event, so please bring your own. Seating is casual - first come first serve.
A blanket or jacket as the evenings get chillier.
Bug spray is recommended. Bug domes are used to keep mosquitoes at bay, but given recent rainy weather, bug protection is suggested for guests.
Picnics are okay. There will also be food available from a food truck at each performance, as well as wine from David Girard Vineyards. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. Water and other NA drinks are okay. Please be considerate of Wakamatsu Farm staff and limit your trash / choose containers you can carry out.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the show! For more information about our production, visit FalconsEyeTheatre.com
