Khymira Entertainment is home to Stage & Steel Productions LLC and Striplight Community Theatre. We are in the process of renovating the old Eagles Building in downtown Follansbee (743 Main Street) to offer a unique entertainment center that will provide the community with family safe entertainment and learning opportunities through theatrical productions, games, classes, workshops, and festivals.

Theater is important for community growth weather you are standing on the stage or sitting in the audience. It brings cultural awareness and understanding. It encourages empathy and imagination. It doesn't matter if the story on stage is from the past, the present, or the future - the life lessons are the same. "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more. "

FAMILY
Our children are raised by a village. A village is made from opportunity as much as people. It is our mission to bring opportunity to the community. We strive to make our space a safe family oriented place where young, old, and everything in-between can grow, live, and learn. "I kid you not, there we were..." FUN
We play to escape. The harder life is the more we should play. Take a moment and escape. Come, play with us! Give it a try. Movies take us to fantastic new worlds but a live performance has an amazing energy that transports us into the story. "We shall march to his castle, we shall march to his bed chamber door!"

What I enjoy about working with Striplight Community Theater and others is how easy it is for our actors and staff to be able to cross over and volunteer or try a different style of acting from one group to another.
I've been able to play a character from a community theater version of Night of the Living Dead. We have been able to offer a chance to learn and earn experience from different styles of shows and events. Always something new and different going on at the Bluewave Center Auditorium here in City of Follansbee.
