We are keeping everyone impacted by the hurricane in our prayers today.🖤

Coastal Dance is grateful to report that our studio is safe, but we know many people did not have the same outcome. Our hearts are with our Gulf Coast neighbors during this time.

If you are a CD family with access to internet, please put a 🤍 in the comments to let us know you are alright.

Our team will be slow to respond to emails as we head into fall break. We will however be prioritizing emails from any families reaching out to us with storm-related updates! For any non-storm related emails, please expect a response by the middle of next week. Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure our community is safe during our break!

Coastal Dance Company has decided to cancel classes on 10/8.🚨

Weather conditions for Tropical Storm Isaias are expected to impact our area tomorrow, Friday the 9th. Baldwin County has issued a State of Emergency and it is our understanding that several after school activities have already been canceled for today.

While we had initially planned to dance with you today, we know several families are making storm preparations, and some are choosing to leave. In order to ensure the safety of our dancers, their families, and our staff, we made the decision this morning to call off classes for this Thursday.

Fall Break will continue next week as planned, with no class Monday through Wednesday. Classes will be held on Thursday, October 15. No barre class tomorrow or next Friday. As long as weather conditions improve next week, we are trying to offer a specialty free barre class Monday or Tuesday to make up for the storm’s cancellations. We will share more once the storm passes!

Since this is not the first storm to impact our schedule, later this fall, we will be offering a free themed dance class and activities open to our dancers only. This will be a Girl’s Day Out event, so we still get so spend as much time dancing with our beautiful ballerinas as possible!

Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. We look forward to seeing everyone (healthy and safe) next Thursday.

We were able to grab these three dancers warming up for class the other day and wanted to give them a shout out!

This semester three of our soloists Sofia, McKenna, and Eden all began their first season en pointe!🩰

We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see them hit the stage December 13 for our Nutcracker performances.🫶✨

October 10 - Soloists perform at The Copper Kettle’s “Sleepy Hollow Dinner Theater” 6pm
October 12-14 - Fall Break - NO CLASS
October 19-23 - Wellness Week “The Dancer in the Mirror”

Costume Classes:
Pink- 26th
Blue- 29th
Green- 26th
Soloist- 27th

Boo at the Barre (Adult Class) - October 30th 6pm - Bring your boo or bestie for a 45 minute barre class in costume! MUST book attendance in advance, spots are limited. Snacks to follow.

Starting in October, Pink Class will move to Mondays only due to teacher changes. There will be a decreased price with this change, please email us with any questions.
