For those that don't know, MDC lost one of our own. One of our sweet dance mamas, Heather Hestand passed away from aggressive cancer on May 29, 2026. What a precious souls and cheerleader she has been these past 6 years since her family entered our door. She will be missed so incredibly much in our audience, lobby and Darbys Dancer classroom.

Tomorrow, June 13, our Performance Team will be honoring her memory and her love for the arts, specifically dance, by performing at the Gratitude Gala.

Please send prayers and thoughts to her family and friends at this time. 🤍✨
