Apologies for the later opening but my mom has been going through a really bad time with her blood pressure wildly fluctuating and many medication changes, making her feel woozy and not able to help me in the store as much as we planned. We’ve had many doctors visits and were able to get into a specialist at noon today so have to adjust the hours. 😞

We need more stuff!

Friends, as this store is a retail experiment for me I don’t mind sharing my thoughts on how it’s going in week 3 This is my first foray into consignment. It is definitely a tough time to start a new store!

While we’ve had massive enthusiasm we have not gotten much inventory in and we need more. We added a 4th option where there is no upfront fee and it’s at the standard consignment store split of 60-40 and we’re still struggling to get inventory. The store may look full but we measure by turns…what comes in and what goes out.

I have tried to keep the cost of selling as low as possible but we do have overhead every month. Just this space is $750 a month for the storefront not to mention utilities, insurance, credit card processor etc. The upfront payment options help us cover all that while making YOU a higher cut for your stuff!

Please spread the word! And sign up to bring us some great stuff to sell for you!
