Well.. that’s a wrap! It has taken probably 20 trips and a couple trailer loads but the art space is cleaned out! It’s a miracle.
This may be a shock to some of you and I apologize for not being more communicable, but it kind of just fell into place!
First a big Thank you to everyone who has supported the art space the past four years! As well as Andy Suski and Fred Lynch for the opportunity and for being such great landlords. It was such a hard decision to make to close the art space! One I pondered on and went back and forth on many times...
I have made so many friends over the years having my studio downtown. Lots of people that I have met through the art space I now consider some of my dearest friends! It killed me to think about letting my friends and all the wonderful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting down! but I had to be a little selfish.. I felt like I was missing out on precious time with my kids, fiancé and my family.
I’m excited for this new chapter of stay at home studio mom Meg, but will miss downtown flushing I’m sure!
With my new found time and freedom I’m hoping to take the art space on the road! Please keep me in mind for birthday parties, corporate events, or any other group gathering you’d like a fun artsy activity at! Stay here following me for information on summer class happenings and pop up venues. Being involved in the community here is still very important to me, and I plan on integrating artsy opportunities as much as I can! Look for me at summer fest, harvest fest and in and around town! Jen and I have been taking about a fun spring project! Stay tuned for the deets on that! Ciao for now 😘
