The 4th Annual Floyd Living Traditions Festival returns Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Floyd Center for the Arts.

This free, family friendly festival celebrates the rich traditions of Appalachian art, craft, and music with a full day of live performances, craft demonstrations, artist exhibitions, food vendors, and hands on activities for all ages.

Hosted by the Floyd Center for the Arts in partnership with the Floyd Country Store’s Handmade Music School, the festival brings together artists, musicians, and community members to celebrate the creative heritage that makes Floyd and the Blue Ridge region so special.

Last year, more than 1,900 people attended, making it one of the most vibrant community celebrations of the year.

📣 Vendor Applications Are Now Open

Artisans working in handmade media are invited to apply for a booth. Work rooted in traditional Appalachian craft, as well as contemporary interpretations of those traditions, are encouraged.

• Booth Fee: $65 for a 10x10 space
• Application Deadline: Monday, July 6
