Make OLD CHURCH GALLERY a stop next time you are in Floyd. We have updated our side entrance with a new ramp, landscaped all around, and added a millstone and archaic water bowl as focal points. Inside the Gallery are two new exhibits. First is a stunning retrospective honoring the 16 HANDS potters, who helped make Floyd the cultural destination it is. Second is the Gallery's contribution to America 250 "By the Grandchildren", featuring the work of descendants of Floyd County folk who settled in the county around the Revolutionary War period. Look for fabric rosettes with ribbons to help identify these artisans. As always, visit our website https://oldchurchgallery.org to learn more about our work and our past exhibits. Bravo! The Korn Kutters Band Tribute was a wonderful evening of music and stories. Performing the Korn Kutters’ music were George Slusher, Mac Traynham, Andy Buckman, Phil Wooddail, and Michael Williams, along with special performances by students at the Handmade Music School. Copies of the Korn Kutters CD produced by the Handmade Music School are available.
