Wednesday....hump day...what would make a nice post? I for one start thinking about the weekend and what would be fun to do. This weekend will be different for me because I'll actually be working in the gallery on Saturday for another artist. I thought I'd post about this publication that you'll find FOR FREE in just about every place in and around Floyd. It's 64 pages of points of interest: food, wine, art, lodging, local stories, MAPS, as well as real estate and land if you love Floyd so much you want to stay! I post this because...I like how you can see Floyd's only stoplight and just how much is packed into every nook and cranny. I've said many times how A New Leaf Gallery is located inside The Station. Now you have a visual! The Station is one building that houses many businesses, not just us (see the bulleted list to the right) Come inside! And yes, you can bring your canine companion 💚🌱🦮🌱💚

And today's panel is brought to you by Ruth Lefko! We share Thursdays at the gallery, so you'll meet one or the other of us on any given Thursday, sometimes both! She's my talk-to-every-day buddy and pal! That's one of many great things about A New Leaf Gallery; every artist knows every artist. Think about that a minute. We support one another. We encourage and inspire each other. Many are friends outside the gallery because the gallery brought us together and we click! When we work our shifts, we work for every artist in the gallery. Every sale is celebrated by every artist. Every compliment in the absence of that artist is passed on to that artist. Think of us like a bouquet...we all bring something to the vase.

Today's artist is Bronwen Valentine ! We've featured individual works of hers time and time again, but seeing her display full of color and precision is something to behold. Originals, prints on canvas, paper prints, cards, magnets, stickers, and even UMBRELLAS!!! We have it all, and 2 Sundays per month, we have Bronwen herself! Do come by! 💚🌱💚
