Friday — The Rarely Available Band | 8:30 PM | FREE
Rarely Available is exactly that — so when we get ’em, you come see ’em. A Floyd-area favorite since 1979, these guys bounce through country, blues, bluegrass, jazz, Texas swing and good old rock & roll, with killer harmonies and plenty of originals thrown in.

Saturday — Adwela & The Uprising + Ky-Enie King + DJ Ruby Star * The Reggae Takeover for Backpack Art Program | 7 PM–Midnight | $20
Adwela & The Uprising + Ky-Enie King + DJ Ruby Star bring an entire night of roots reggae and dub to Dogtown. Even better: this one is a fundraiser for the Backpack Art Program, with all profits donated to support local youth. Come dance for a damn good reason.

And our beloved Dogtown Open Mic on Sunday. Sign up at 4:30, or listen in starting at 5pm. We have the day off tomorrow so let's all come holler for local music ❤️

And while all of that is happening downtown, Dogtown is also hitting the road for Floyd Yoga Jam, happening Thursday through Sunday. Find our booth when hunger interrupts your enlightenment — we’ll be slinging hot pies all weekend.

A little update from Eli as he continues to heal up from that broken arm. He’s already looking ahead to September 13th, when Leonard Blush & the Camelcals will be taking the stage at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion alongside Marty Stuart. Eli says he’ll be there — and we believe him.

In the meantime, Mike Maycock is helping out on guitar while Eli finishes healing up. You can catch The Camelcals (with Mike sitting in) at Dogtown Pizza this Saturday night, and then everybody — Leonard Blush included — will be at Parkway Brewing Company Salem this Sunday enjoying some Mountain Grille. Come on out, say hey, listen to some music, and we'll all have a real good time.
