In case you’ve forgotten,
It’s time for foxtrottin’
To some ol’ Sinatra.
Oh, give me a Cha Cha!
Darling, it’s been a while,
And I can hardly style,
But Jim’s firing up the grill.
Can’t we dance and chill?
I’ve missed the Tango measure,
That rhythmic treasure,
And I surely need some exercise.
Send me to dance highs!
After another move this year,
We can’t wait to hear
The beat of a Hustle
And that damn Cupid Shuffle!
There’s a Two Step in the queue—
Hear it’s great with BBQ—
So brush your shoes
And bring your moves.
Let’s honor our labor
With splendid Boleros
And Swing out of summer
With a finger-snapping number.
I’ll have a glass of Michael Bublé
For Jim's Birthday,
But remember: It’s BYOB
At Applause Dance Factory.
The party starts at eight,
And it’s guaranteed to satiate
A love of smooth, romantic Waltz
That melts away each other’s faults.
If you wish
To bring a dish,
We’d love to see you
And your jolly crew.
Please come and sway
The night away.
This is how it starts:
With all your beating hearts.
Friday night, dressed so chic …
(Dancing Rumba cheek to cheek)
We’re opening the door;
See YOU on the dance floor!
