Hawthorne Players is thrilled to announce the cast of PRESENT LAUGHTER, the witty play by Noël Coward, to be presented November 6 - 15 at the Florissant Performing Arts Center and directed by Lori Renna. Thank you to everyone who auditioned.

Based on Noël Coward’s legendary wit and larger-than-life persona, actor Garry Essendine is the star of the London theatrical scene at the height of his fame and adored by legions of admirers. In the week before Garry is set to embark on an African tour, he is forced to juggle a besotted young woman with stars in her eyes, an unhinged young playwright obsessed with him, his best friend’s wife who is determined to seduce him, his manager, his producer, his secretary, his estranged ex-wife, and an impending mid-life crisis as his birthday looms ever closer.

Voices at Bellefontaine 2026 will feature Tanya Burns, Tim Callahan, Kay Love, Todd Micali, Rennell Parker, Sr., and Lynn Working, who will bring permanent residents of the historic Bellefontaine Cemetery to life in monologues written and directed by Larry Marsh.

Performances are at 10:00 AM, 1:00 and 3:30 PM on Saturday, Oct 17 and Sunday, Oct 18.

Voices is more than just a performance—it’s a journey through time. Guests will be transported through history on comfortable shuttles, stopping at three locations throughout the grounds. All seated performances offer a captivating experience that bridges the past and the present via powerful storytelling and theatrical magic.
