I had picked up this frame about 13 weeks ago at the thrift store across the highway from my house for just $5 bucks!

It had someones family photos in it! It made me sad that no family members claimed these family photos and they ended up at a thrift store.

I was looking for a frame to fit a dark academia painting that I had.

Well I finally finished it today!

It took a while because I was searching for a pretty paper that I could decopauge to the backing of the frame. I found this cool red glitter paper that I had used to wrap a birthday gift for my daughter many years ago! I had enough left on the roll to work with.

Getting the unstretched painting on it was a Lil difficult because of the glitter. So it took many weeks of adding more and more Mod Podge to it. I checked it a few days ago and it was finally completely dry and ready for some embellishments.

I couldn't cut off the white strips around the painting without the edges fraying. So to cover them up I used a pretty black glitter ribbon around it. Which to me looks good with the dark academia aesthetic. Then I added some gold metal picture corners to make it pop.

The frame was painted in Hammered bronze and I went over the raised mushroom designs with a silver rub and buff!

I think it turned out so pretty! Can't wait to hang it up in my bedroom!

Cute As a Bug Designer Series Paper

These are all the cute cards I made and talked about on my live the other day. I just fussy cut out the bugs from 3 pages of the paper and I was able to make all these cards from just 3 pages. All I habe to do now is just add the Sentiments to them. 🐛🐌🐝🐜
