It was truly an honor to do the ground breaking sculpture for Matt’s Building Supplies. These men and women are truly amazing. They lost their original store of 55 years to a devastating fire a year ago. God is so Good!

Thank you to Mark Landrum (Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy) and CoastLife Credit Union in Portland, TX for having us out to do a sculpture for their grand opening. We had a great time!

The Old School Texas SandBash has concluded. It was a great event with an even better turnout! This event was in fact “Old School” meaning the competitors had to walk 50 yards to the ocean and back to collect water and dig our own sand to sculpt from our plots. Did we mention it rained in the early morning? In total, we traveled 400 yards, collected 120 gallons of water, and moved 14,000 lbs/ 3.5 tons of wet sand. The weather was perfect even though heavy rain and thunderstorms were forecasted. Thank you Albert Lucio for the invitation and the opportunity to participate! We always walk away from these events learning so much from everyone!
