I will be in Memphis at Graceland on August 13 speaking about the 1973 Elvis sessions at Stax Studio. I will also play bass on two Presley Classics with the great Andy Childs band. Thinking back, as I sit here typing on my laptop, I remembered It was Christmas and Memphis was aglow with bright colored lights and green garland wrapped Christmas trees proudly displayed in the many homes I passed on my way to the studio that night. We would record eighteen new songs over the next six nights and the memories of that week still give me pause to remember the greatest artist I ever played for Elvis Presley. Hope to see you at Graceland!
