I’ll be here in the studio until 3:00 today. Still time for you to come make art!

So, I’ve been here since 9:30 AM, and you wonder what I’ve been doing?

1. Tried a new super stretchy glitter slime recipe!!

2. Painted teeny tiny air dry clay pieces to look like miniature pads of butter! 🧈

3. Started working on a new acrylic painting. The idea came to me in my sleep, so I have to make it happen! I have finished gold leafing the center of each flower…it was my first time playing with gold leaf and I was surprised at how delicate it is! Flat tweezers and a paintbrush made easy work of a tedious task! Now to mix up a dash of resin and mica for the flower centers. I’ll let dry overnight. Tomorrow morning, I’ll make a batch of texture paste and pipe and brush out some flower petals! Then, they will dry for at least 24-hours before painting. Friday will be paint day! I’m so excited about this one!

Yesterday, I started working on packaging for bookmark sets. I completed the Ocean Vibes set! Today, I spent the majority of the day moving fence panels in my yard and doing some much needed yard work.

I’ll host OPEN STUDIO hours tomorrow from 10-3:00. Come make a project! Make something familiar, or try something new! We have projects for kids and adults!

Working on a custom Tic-Tac-Toe order. Vanilla donut with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles 😋 Avocado toast is available for sale, and I’m working on some waffles. The waffles are painted, but I made pads of butter from ADC so waiting for that to dry. Then I’ll paint and seal the butter before attaching to the waffles ❤️

I’ll be in the studio tomorrow morning around 10AM working on items for an upcoming vendor fair. I’ll be there 10-2:00…. All paintings and projects on display in the studio can be recreated. Come get crafty with me!

Giving a new art project a trial run this weekend. This was day 1…the preparation phase. Letting it dry overnight so tomorrow I can set it up in the sun 🌞 so much fun…the science 🥼 of art 🎨
