This weekend is Pirate Weekend at the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival! Lots of pirate-y activities and shows.

And for the PB and J Circus themed pin this week, we have this parrot who has taken over as captain, and still has good taste in circus shows! A little reminiscent of Circe the Bird who is still relaxing at home while Susan and Travis perform!

Wow, thank you Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival for a GREAT opening weekend! We were so busy and having so much fun that we didn't even get any pictures, except for this one of a whimsical spoon that someone gave to Susan.

The Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival is celebrating its 21st season! That means that the festival is old enough to buy an adult beverage. So to commemorate this, for opening weekend only, we have a special PB&J circus pen.

For our younger fans, don't worry, those mugs are just full of Apple soda.

Week 1 of the Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival is upon us! This Saturday, May 30th is opening day, and it will run every Saturday and Sunday until July 19th!

This is the 21st season of the festival, and for opening weekend, we have a themed pin. Here is a picture of the back, any guesses?

The Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival schedule is live on their website! We will be on the Greenwood Stage at 11, 1, and 3, same as previous years. But one change this year, our Main Street show will be at 6:15 instead of 5:30 so it doesn't overlap the final joust.

Come see us eat fire, swallow swords, and yell "Yay Susan!" to your hearts' content!
