General discussion on aims of a Florence Arts Council to promote arts community to other areas. Discussion included scheduling common dates for events, advertising for each other by passing out handouts and posting signs in galleries and studios alerting visitors to other outlets available in town, linking websites, working with other businesses in town. Discussed need for a communications method to alert members to meetings, events, etc., and a telephone tree will be developed. Enough interest was display to schedule a second meeting to pursue an arts organization. The group will meet again April 8 at 8 a.m. at the Homestead Restaurant.
