B & B takes Art After Dark 🩷✨

One thing I want every single one of my interns to learn is that becoming a tattoo artist is about SO much more than learning how to tattoo, it’s about learning how to be confident.

Confident in your art.
Confident in your decisions.
Confident in every single move you make.

Because when you’re putting something on someone’s body permanently, there’s no room to constantly second-guess yourself.

Watching Baylee blossom throughout this internship has been so special to me. 🥹 She’s not only becoming a stronger artist, she’s becoming such a beautiful, confident young woman who is starting to truly believe in herself.

Tonight was about art, confidence, getting out of our comfort zones, and making memories along the way. 🩷

Watching these girls step into who they’re becoming will forever be one of my favorite parts of what I do.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget hearing those words. 🥹🏡

After divorce. After bankruptcy. After completely starting over in a career I never could’ve imagined would change my life the way it has…

MY BABIES AND I HAVE A HOME. 😭🩷

There were so many moments I had no idea how I was going to rebuild my life. I just knew I refused to stay stuck in a chapter that was no longer meant for me.

And somehow, step by step, risk by risk, prayer by prayer… it all started coming together.

So let this be your reminder:

You CAN do this by yourself.
You can start over.
You can rebuild.
You can choose a completely different life.
You can go after the dream that scares the hell out of you.
And one day, you’ll look around and realize you’re standing inside the life you once prayed for. 🥹

Will we have everything the second we move in? Nope. 😂
But we’ll have each other. We’ll have OUR home. And somehow, I ended up with a house right across the street from my parents. 😭

Out of every house, every street, every possibility… THAT is where we get to call home.

And to me, that means more than having everything in the world.

My babies have a home.
Mama did it. 🏡🩷

The becoming was worth it.
