Georgia O’Keeffe was born on November 15, 1887 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She died nearly a hundred years later on March 6, 1986 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Her work as an independent artist and writer has affected generations of people as well as the many feminist movements we saw during her lifetime.

Thank god for Georgia and her sweet summer brain 🍑

Welcome to my art page! This is going to be the new home for the artwork that I create as I navigate my early 20s.

My name is Mary. I'm 23 and recently graduated from Francis Marion University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. I was born and raised in the tight-knit Florence community where art and community thrive in subtlety!

We have Lake City's Art Fields, the Grateful Dog, Florence Outside, the Horizons summer art program, Francis Marion's PAC, the Gately Gallery, and countless other opportunities for art and community to thrive in Flotown!

My hope for this account is to find other local artists in the Florence community and help shine a light on their work as well!
