Spoon River Anthology is actually a collection of “poems” as it were, themselves, interwoven into a tapestry that tells the story of lives lived (and secrets kept) in mid-western America.It is set in the fictional town of Spoon River, Illinois. This show is my personal curation of those “stories from the grave” which form a tidy 2 act readers-theatre production. Laced throughout these epitaphs are old musical standards which frame particular moments of the show. Total run time for the performance with intermission is 2 hours.

AUDITIONS: Monday, August 17th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
and Monday, August 24th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Reading materials will be provided but prepared pieces for the audition are always appreciated. Adult Sensitive material. Singing is a plus but not a must.

The Auditions and the Presentation will be at the Bell Tower Cultural Center in October.
