Last week we got Newguys pathology back and it wasn’t what we had hoped for. He has Hemangiosarcoma and unfortunately it will progress rapidly. Today is his first day without pain medicine from his Splenectomy and I had hoped to see him up moving around a bit more but that’s not his plan for today.

Please remember my sweet boy this morning as he gets ready for surgery. Thankfully he was well enough last night to go through a stroll through the neighborhood and smell all of his favorite spots. This morning I can see the strain his little body is under. We spent this morning together cuddled up. He will go into surgery knowing love and compassion.

My poor girl is always the one to get hurt. She was playing in the yard last night and a stick punctured her paw. I tried to get it out myself and failed. Thankfully the animal hospital in Wilder was able to get her sedated and fixed up. She’s an older gal and has always had a rough time waking up afterwards.
She did try to hide from the vet by sticking her head under a chair.

I work near a very old cemetery and it was finally warm enough to explore on my lunch break. There are graves and statues from the very early 1900’s. Maybe even the late 1800’s.
It was so well maintained and beautiful. These are some of my favorites from today. Such a humbling experience to walk through the rows of ppl who were so well loved.

I was assuming that with all of the recent snow that my Hellebore’s wouldn’t survive. But I’m pleasantly surprised to see that they not only survived but are starting to bloom!!!!!

This was my first time making a blanket with so much texture!! The center is a starburst!!!✴️
The only thing that will make it better is when a sweet little baby girl is wrapped in it! 🥰💖🥰
