I have a few new followers here so I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself🤍

My name is Courtney Lockridge and I’m the artist behind Hazel and Gray Co!
I cane up with that name because my dog (aka my pride and joy) is named Hazel and my middle name is Gray! And I thought it sounded cute together so why not☺️

I am currently traveling full time with my husband as he plays minor league baseball for the Yankees organization! This is my first year traveling and I am seriously having so much fun. It’s definitely not the glamourous life that some people think it is, but we’re together and that’s all that matters🤍

My main medium is watercolor, but I always love creating digital art with my iPad! It’s less messy and I can work in the car which is always nice☺️

A few random facts about me are:
- I could listen to true crime podcasts 24/7
- I’ve recently started embroidery and I am obsessed😍
- my entire closet is pretty much neutral colors other than a few pops of olive and some fall tones
- Fall is my favorite season by far - pumpkins, Halloween, haunted houses, cinnamon, I am obsessed with it all😍
- a perfect day for me is spent visiting bookstores and coffee shops and I’m pretty sure I’m an 85 year old lady at heart😂

I could never explain how thankful I am for the sacrifice of Jesus🤍

The dogwood tree has always been something that I think about when I think of Easter and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I remember my dad pointing them out to me when we lived in Georgia and explaining the symbolism behind the flower.

There are the 4 petals resembling a cross, the notches on each end like the nails, and the bits of red and pink symbolizing Christ’s blood. I think it’s such a beautiful symbol of what Jesus did for us on that Good Friday🤍
