WHAT A NIGHT!

Thank you to everyone to came out to our last Florence After 5 of the 2026 season! We so appreciated everyone who donated to the Florence County chapter of Dolly’s Imagination Library and to those who paid tribute to Dolly Parton with us last night.

Florence After 5 is back TONIGHT, Friday, September 25 in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street from 5:30-8:30 p.m. After your 9 to 5, make plans to head downtown and join us for the LAST Florence After 5 of the season with a special Dolly Parton twist. Here's what you need to know if you're headed downtown to kick off your weekend with Florence's favorite block party.

Joining us tonight on stage is fan favorite, Rivermist bringing the best in Beach Music, dance hits, top 40, funk and soul. During the band break, we'll be playing special tribute to Dolly Parton on National Dolly Day (9/25) and we encourage attendees to wear their Dolly best--rhinestones, pink, and butterflies! We'll also be joined this evening by the Florence County chapter of Dolly's Imagination Library. Consider making a monetary or ticket donation to any of the donation boxes at the ticket, b**r, or Imagination Library booths.

Stop by the ticket booth near the Florence County Museum and enter to win a custom Florence After 5 lawn chair! We'll be selecting TWO winners at this event, during the band break around 7:15 p.m. and one around 8:15 p.m. You have to be present to win, and the winners will be announced at the stage. Each winner will receive one custom chair.

🎤 Florence After 5 is a rain or shine event, and we'll only postpone, adjust the schedule, or cancel in the event of ACTIVE weather threats such as lightning or high winds in the area.
🎤 Admission to the event is FREE thanks to our Platinum Sponsors: MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Victors, The Citizens Bank, and Southern Crown Partners featuring Savage Craft Ale Works. Thank you also to our TV media sponsor, WMBF News.

🎤 There will be food vendors, cold drinks, and b**r/seltzer/draft margaritas available to attendees. To purchase these items, you must first purchase the yellow FA5 tickets from the ticket booth. $1 = 1 ticket and we accept both cash and cards. The ticket booth is located in-between the Florence County Museum and the Waters Building, or you can stop by the b**r booth.
🎤 Lawn chairs are welcome, but please leave outside coolers at home. They are not allowed!
🎤 Free parking is available in the City of Florence parking garage, the DHEC parking lot, and the County Complex parking garage and parking lot. All of these are just a short walk from the event. Handicap accessible parking is available on a first-come/first-serve basis in the DHEC parking lot and City of Florence parking garage.
🎤 Leashed and well socialized dogs are allowed, but please make sure you bring water for them and be mindful about hot pavement on paws.
🎤 This is a non-profit event and NO SOLICITATION (including political candidates and political canvassing) is allowed.
🎤 Public restrooms are located in the James Allen Plaza near the b**r booth. Just follow the signs!
🎤 Although the event ends at 8:30pm, that doesn't mean you have to leave Downtown Florence. Don't miss the Victors Party in the Plaza in the James Allen Plaza until 10 p.m. featuring Voodoo Child.

Have you made your plans to attend the last Florence After 5 of the 2026 season? Join us on Friday, September 25 for live music by Rivermist, local food and drink vendors, and absolutely PERFECT weather.

We also invite you to celebrate the life and legacy of Dolly Parton on this 9-2-5 occasion. We'll be doing some special tributes to the Country music and philanthropic legend, our local chapter of Dolly's Imagination Library will be in attendance taking monetary (or ticket) donations, and we encourage you to wear your butterfly or rhinestone best to celebrate.

Who's ready for Florence After 5 next week on Friday, September 25?!

Join us at Florence After 5 after your 9 to 5 as we welcome Rivermist back to the Florence After 5 stage! Voted Fayetteville, North Carolina’s Best Band, Rivermist brings an exciting mix of Top 40 favorites, beach music, soul, funk, and more.

But that’s not all! Grab your cowboy hats, rhinestones and butterfly best because we’re celebrating the life and legacy of Dolly Parton the only way she would want with music, community, fun, and giving back. Throughout the evening, we’ll be collecting monetary donations for our local chapter of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Come ready to dance, sing along, and help us support a great cause!

We can't wait to welcome Konnection Band to the Florence After 5 stage for the very first time. The wait is almost over! Florence After 5 returns NEXT WEEK on Friday, July 31 with live music by PRS PLY BAND in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street!

The fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and the band hits the stage at 6 p.m. Enjoy live music, food vendors, and our friends with the Florence Tennis Association - FTA will be onsite with red ball tennis for kids and families, too.
