Florence After 5 is back TONIGHT, Friday, August 28 in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Here's what you need to know if you're headed downtown to kick off your weekend with Florence's favorite block party.

Joining us tonight on stage for the first time is Konnection Band! Since 2005, The Konnection has earned its reputation as one of the East Coast’s premier party bands—bringing high-energy performances and a crowd-pleasing mix of Top 40, Rock, Country, R&B, Beach, and Oldies to every stage they hit.

Stop by the ticket booth near the Florence County Museum and enter to win a custom Florence After 5 lawn chair! We'll be selecting TWO winners at this event, during the band break around 7:15 p.m. and one around 8:15 p.m. You have to be present to win, and the winners will be announced at the stage. Each winner will receive one custom chair.

🎤 Florence After Five takes place in the 100 block of South Dargan Street from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
🎤 Florence After 5 is a rain or shine event, and we'll only postpone, adjust the schedule, or cancel in the event of ACTIVE weather threats such as lightning or high winds in the area.
🎤 Admission to the event is FREE thanks to our Platinum Sponsors: MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, Victors, The Citizens Bank, and Southern Crown Partners featuring Wicked W**d Brewing. Thank you also to our TV media sponsor, WMBF News.

To purchase these items, you must first purchase the yellow FA5 tickets from the ticket booth. $1 = 1 ticket and we accept both cash and cards. The ticket booth is located in-between the Florence County Museum and the Waters Building, or you can stop by the beer booth.
🎤 Lawn chairs are welcome, but please leave outside coolers at home. They are not allowed!
🎤 Free parking is available in the City of Florence parking garage, the DHEC parking lot, and the County Complex parking garage and parking lot. All of these are just a short walk from the event. Handicap accessible parking is available on a first-come/first-serve basis in the DHEC parking lot and City of Florence parking garage.
🎤 Leashed and well socialized dogs are allowed, but please make sure you bring water for them and be mindful about hot pavement on paws.
🎤 This is a non-profit event and NO SOLICITATION (including political candidates and political canvassing) is allowed.
🎤 Public restrooms are located in the James Allen Plaza near the beer booth. Just follow the signs!
🎤 Although the event ends at 8:30pm, that doesn't mean you have to leave Downtown Florence. Don't miss the Victors Party in the Plaza in the James Allen Plaza until 10 p.m. featuring Voodoo Child.

Who's ready for Florence After 5 next week on Friday, August 28?!

We can't wait to welcome Konnection Band to the Florence After 5 stage for the very first time. Since 2005, The Konnection has earned its reputation as one of the East Coast’s premier party bands—bringing high-energy performances and a crowd-pleasing mix of Top 40, Rock, Country, R&B, Beach, and Oldies to every stage they hit.

Join us in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street beginning at 5:30 p.m. The band takes the stage at 6 p.m. and the party continues until 8:30 p.m. Afterward, check out DJ Voodoo Child in the James Allen Plaza with Victors!

The wait is almost over! Florence After 5 returns NEXT WEEK on Friday, July 31 with live music by PRS PLY BAND in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street!

The fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and the band hits the stage at 6 p.m. Enjoy live music, food vendors, and our friends with the Florence Tennis Association - FTA will be onsite with red ball tennis for kids and families, too.

Downtown Florence's favorite block party is brought to you with FREE admission thanks to Platinum Season Sponsors, Victors, MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, The Citizens Bank, and Southern Crown Partners featuring Savage Craft Ale Works. Thanks to our Monthly Concert Sponsor, T-Mobile Fiber.

Warm up those dancing shoes, it's a Florence After 5 week, and we're bringing the heat with Blackwater Band on Friday, June 26 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Dargan Street!

Admission is FREE and lawn chairs are welcome. But please, leave your personal coolers at home. They are not allowed. We'll have plenty of food and drink vendors on hand to serve you.

Our friends at the Florence Tennis Association will also be on-site with red ball tennis, fun for the whole family!
