If I’m right about it, I’ll probably write about it.
And I hate being wrong
so I’ll be damn if I recite about it.
Cup runneth over with a full course meal.
Highly Blessed, but surely stressed
That’s just how a n***a feel
Mama said they’ll be days like this...
Papa said these hoes gon’ play like this...
Well I’m just tryna be on her playlist...
Hoping all of my exes play this
because as of lately it’s been my thoughts between these lines that kept my mind on track.
Everything I ever learned taught me to bet on black.

-Thoughts flooded…
-Soul burnt out…
-I often find the truth in the bottom of empty bottles and piles of ashes
-And lately my mind has been a battleground where dreams and depression clashes
-A game of tug of war between tears & lashes
-So eager to lash out.
-Wiping moisture away as i lie
-Makeup lame excuses like, there's something in my eye
-Only to realize that “something” is pain.
-Rejecting truth…
-Blindsided by guilt
-You see a man with a smile.
-I see a mask he’s been wearing for a while
-If there's a smile on my face I hope you will learn to love it
-It's only there trying to fool the public
-The tears of a clown drown in the wrinkles of a frown
-But the rooms too Smokey to see me down
-Too proud to face reason
-Or is it that i’m too afraid…
-Too cold to change season
-I look forward to cloudy days
-There's a storm in my head
-No. There's a song in my head
-Temptation said "I Wish It Would Rain"
-Maybe it'll wash away the pain...
-Too many questions that need answering
