One of the best things we do is helping people make memories. Pictured here are Kaleigh and her daughter Violet. When Kaleigh visited us as a child she wore this Little Toot Shirt. All these years she saved it and today Violet wore the same shirt for her first ride. Thank you for coming, we hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we did. Above all thank you for sharing the railroad with Violet. Happy Rails!

Thanks for a great Saturday in spite of the heat! We love it when people make us a day trip! Did you know that we are known far and wide? Not only do we have our local Little Toot lovers, but today for example we hosted families from St. Louis Mo, Columbia IL., St Marie IL, Springfield MO. Mt Vernon, Il. Orchardville IL. and those are just the cities we are aware of. Hope to see you soon aboard the train!

The railroad will be operating today, July 5th from 10 a.m. until 6.p.m. Tomorrow operation looks "iffy" since we are expecting rain and thunderstorms during the time we will be open.

It was a long hot afternoon.. Around 4 p.m. when the temp dropped below 90 the crowd showed up. The train was completely full on every trip and the platform was full of people waiting to ride for the next 4 hours! Thanks to all who came out to ride today!

THE RAILROAD IS NOW OPEN!!!!!

Hours of operation for this holiday weekend:

FRIDAY July 4th noon until dusk
SATURDAY 10 A.M. UNTIL 6 P.M.
SUNDAY noon until 4 p.m.
Cost to Ride $5 per person
Age 12 mos and under ride free as always.
Children aged 5 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Opening update. Due to the amount of rain over the last few months, just like the farmers, construction workers and other outdoor activities we have suffered being able to do much work. We are currently doing pre season work . We will post an update here once we have some trackwork completed and are able to open for the season.
