Howdy bluegrass friends. One last reminder. Dec. 6th, 2025 will be the last scheduled meeting of our MBMA. Let's make it a celebration of our 45 years of promoting and preserving Bluegrass music. For those of you who receive our newsletter, you may recall my columns discussing the essential elements required for our organization to continue operating. It takes a concerted effort from both our pickers and grinners. Simply put, no pickers means no grinners, and conversely, no grinners means no pickers. Regrettably, we have reached a critical juncture. This will be the final monthly newsletter. We will issue a special edition in either January or February to announce our final closure plans and the subsequent steps to place our association in a state of dormancy. Hopefully, this hiatus will be indefinite, and we will strive to maintain our capacity to restart operations if sufficient support and a suitable venue become available. We will preserve our non-profit corporate status to safeguard our name and logo, which has been registered since the mid-1980s. You will receive further details in our special edition newsletter. Please note that there will be no meeting in November. Unfortunately, our scheduled meeting on December 6, 2025, will be our last. It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that our organization's activities will be coming to a close. December 6, 2025, will mark the final MBMA meeting.
