Jazz on Wheels Jazz musicians with a musical message for urban youth in Flint, Michigan

The concept is based loosely on Dr. Billy Taylor's JazzMobile, which performed mobile concerts in the New York City area in the 60s and 70s. Like the JazzMobile, our shows take place on the back of a truck which has been transformed into a stage. Our audiences over the years have consisted primarily of thousands of kids from the Flint Schools and surrounding areas. We have always operated on a donation basis which has made it possible for virtually all kids to experience our show.
