Saint Lucifer's Haunted Asylum Located at Playland Park. One of the scariest haunted houses in Michigan! Long ago, it was boarded up, abandoned, left for dead. St. Lucifer's on his arm.

Lucifer's Asylum for the Mentally Insane. Once there were over 12,000 patients and a staff of 700. A cutting edge psychiatric hospital specializing in electroshock therapy. But things were far from normal. Patients frequently chewing their tongues off, body counts unusually high. Many patients disappearing into the 5 miles of underground tunnels. The stories of macabre events happening to innocent

people were told everywhere. Such as the young boy who awoke to find the mark of St. Later discovering he had a twin who died at St. Lucifer's. Or the retired nurse who gouged out her own eyeballs while riding the elevator in a department store. Lucifer's was called evil, haunted. Then the state ordered it close in 1974. Be one of the first to enter St. Lucifer's and discover for yourself the meaning of fear.

I keep hearing great stuff about The Crypt. I am going tonight to check out the acting skills of some of my old actors. I can’t wait to have a fun time enjoying a really good haunted house. Join me, I will be there tonight!

Hey loyal creeps,
As you know I’ve been asked by about 1 million people to tell them what my favorite haunted house is. Well in no particular order these are the ones that I think you can’t go a season without going to.

First on my list would be The Crypt it’s a great old school haunt with a lot of old time characters, and great acting. It is such a value for $20 it’s amazing. The Crypt is much bigger than you think it’s going to be. It opens Friday, and it's just around the corner from the old St Lucys.

It you are up for a drive, head to Westland this is where you’ll find Hush this is arguably one of the best haunts in the state and one of my favorites. You’ll see great details and a lot of new stuff because they relocated. This should be an outstanding show and when I see it I will report back to you.

I am a huge Erebus fan. Go! See why this is consistently ranked one of the top haunts in America every year.

I’m going to begoing to a lot of haunts this year, after 20 years of working I haven’t been to as many as I would’ve liked to have seen. The landscape has change dramatically over those 20 years and I’m looking forward to seeing some awesome stuff. I will post it back here and let you creeps know what I think.

Hello followers and loyal creeps, As you know this is normally our opening weekend for the 2018 season. we look forward to it as much as you do. Unfortunately this year we are in the process of relocating. Therefore we will not be opening for this season. We really hope you get to take advantage of many of the great Haunts in the area and enjoy yourself. I know that I’m having withdrawals from not being able to scare people this season. Many of our great actors have gone to work for some of the other area haunted houses and they too are looking forward to scaring you. if you’re in the neighborhood the Crypt is just down the street and they have produce a haunted house of top caliber for years. Rotten Manner is now in its fourth season and they will be open this weekend as well. Also Spooky Trails in Linden always delivers a good family event.

We regret to announce that Saint Lucifer's Haunted Asylum and Prison Break will not be open for the 2018 season. We are moving locations and will share our new location for 2019 when a new location is confirmed.
