a brief history on flint’s favorite monthly tradition, artwalk! and a lot of shameless plugs ! i always try to get posters up before artwalk and as i was walking around today i started to wonder how it all started. go to artwalk this friday, support the local artists, grab a flyer ! and ofc COME TO DEVILS NITE 10/30 @ THE FLINT LOCAL 432 !!!!

devils nite 10/30 alt flyer😈 we made this a benefit event for Genesee County Mutual Aid !! check out there table to chat/sign up for volunteering, grab some materials, and donate items to them to supply the free stores they hold for the community!! BRING ITEMS TO DONATE !! more info in other slides !!

** because of this MASK WILL BE HEAVILY ENCOURAGED AT THE SHOW !! GMCA will be providing free ones at there table **
-GCMA is in need of volunteers !! help them out they are all so lovely and work for an amazing cause!! chat with them !
-they will have small items to take like deodorant, narcan, and hand sanitizers.
-a donation box will be set up next to there table for you all to donate to the amazing free stores they hold every first saturday of the month at the local. NO BIG ITEMS AT THIS TIME such as clothing. they are mainly looking for items like baby formula, hygiene supplies, non-perishables, first aid and more in that smaller category.

-Costume Contest will have prizes for the 1st place winner and runner-ups!! Costumes are basically mandatory!!
-Scavenger Hunt: If you find one of Gabe’s spider friends hidden around the local, you will win a spooky halloween prize !!

Attendees are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to make zines and trade them at the event!! If you’re already a zine creator, awesome !! If not, we will have a “make-a-zine” table with supplies to create them! Supplies will include scissors, glue, different kinds of paper, staplers, markers, crayons, stickers, magazines and more !! trade them with others at the event and get to know people !

zines are an important part of alternative music history, let’s continue that tradition!🐀
