CASTING CALL – PAID OPPORTUNITY in Fleming Island, FL

We’re casting actors and extras for several upcoming short films, with our greatest need being extras.

Rehearsal & Filming Dates:

* September 18–19 – 1980s aerobics-themed scenes (includes simple choreography)
* October 3 – Café scene (extras and actors)

Who We’re Looking For:

* All ages and body types are welcome.
* For the aerobics scenes, we’d love a mix of people who can really dance and people who absolutely can’t—it’ll make the scene even more fun!

We filmed our 2nd comedic short last Saturday and we are really getting a good rhythm with these now.

Huge thanks to our cast and crew who all did an AMAZING job!

Next shoot is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026.

We will have some really cool BTS videos for each of these as well. Currently working on a release schedule!

SEEKING FILM EDITOR – COMEDY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

We are looking for an editor with experience cutting comedy for several upcoming comedic short films.

We’re looking for someone who understands comedic timing, pacing, reaction shots, and how to maximize the humor in a scene while still maintaining strong storytelling.

These shorts are part of a larger slate of projects, with multiple full-length feature films planned later this year. We’re hoping to find someone interested in building a long-term working relationship as our productions continue to grow.

This past weekend, Spotlight completed filming our first original comedy short, Handboots!

We had an amazing time bringing this project to life, and we’re incredibly thankful to our cast and crew for all their hard work, talent, and enthusiasm throughout the shoot. There were plenty of laughs both on and off camera, and everyone had a great time.

We’re excited to see the finished film and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
