Come join the residents of Miss Hildegarde Hodge’s boarding house—a place where single, elderly ladies find camaraderie, share a living space, and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea. Among the ladies are property owner Miss Hildegarde (Abby); know-it-all Miss Emily (Fawn); fiery Miss Birdie (Mia); frail Miss Darlene (Ivy); flirty Miss Amantha (Isabel); sweet Miss Lucy (Hailey); assertive Miss Louise (Yasmin); devil-may-care Miss Hattie (Rona); naïve Miss Nettie (Tillie); and loves-to-be-the-center-of-attention Miss Elizabeth (Jillian).

The ladies soon become enamored with the handsome police officer Dennis O’Finn (Justin), who has moved into the apartment building across the street. They must find a way to lure the young homicide detective to pay them a visit—but how?

And how will the ladies respond when O’Finn, flanked by fellow Detective Kramer (Hayden) and Officer Smith (Thunder), finally shows up at their door? How will O’Finn explain the whole situation to his superior, Captain Williams (Sheyenne)?

The cast and crew will also compete in the Region 3A One-Act Play Contest on January 27 in Baltic, with the top two performances advancing to the State Festival in February.

The annual Flandreau Crystal Theatre Christmas show will be THIS SATURDAY, December 13th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. We will have musical selections from the band and chorus. Hope to see you there!
