My firstborn. The right arm of my strength. Full of intelligence, determination, and wisdom. I've always admired your fire. You challenge my thinking. You push me to push myself. I love you with all of my being, and miss you with all of the regrets, worries, frustrations, fears and hopes of a father... I know your heart... and I have confidence that your faith will lead you where you need to be. "Through the dark of night came my child. A light to blind my eyes into sight..." Adrian Wall and I met while boarding at the Santa Fe Indian School in Jr. High. As teenagers, we created an acoustic duo called "Crosswinds", and performed in restaurants around Santa Fe and Albuquerque. After high school, we teamed up with our buddy, Eric Archuleta, from Ojo Caliente, NM, to form "Deviant Behavior", a punk/metal/blues band. Throughout the years, we've continued to work together in projects such as Jimmy Shendo's "Moiety", "Cincos Indios" with Jon Horse, Scarlo Johansson aka Carlo Johnson, and Ira Wilson (rest in power), as well as our own collaboration, Twin Rivers. Adrian currently heads up the Native American Music Award winning band, Innastate along with my son, Rylan Kabotie 💙 and sits in with my band, Tha 'Yoties from time to time... On March 7th and 8th, Adrian, Rylan, Lawrence 'Rock-steady' Bailon, and I will be performing as Twin Rivers at the Heard Museum in Phoenix for the 68th annual Heard Indian Fair & Market. Set times are 1:45pm on Saturday 3/7 and 12:35 on Sunday 3/8. Looking forward to the opportunity to jam with the fam and share some good vibes with folks in the valley.🤙

It was an impactful visit to Washington D.C. As part of the Southwest River Council delegation for American Rivers, the week was filled with meetings and advocacy for the Dolores River in Colorado, the Gila River and Pecos Watershed in New Mexico, the Upper Verde River and Little Colorado River in Arizona, and of course, the Great Colorado River that nourishes 40 million people in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. In addition to this critical work, my primary mission in visiting the nation's capital was to carry information about my son, Lars, to all of New Mexico's representatives and senators with an appeal for assistance regarding investigation into his disappearance. I want extend my most heartfelt gratefulness to Senator Martin Heinrich and Senator Ben Ray Luján for their personal concern and attentiveness to Lars' story... It has been said that "justice is the guardian of liberty". This statement is a foundational value to guide reform on behalf of missing and/or murdered Indigenous relatives. May the Great Spirit light our way.

Having a problem with fake profiles. Not sure what people’s motives are, and it’s super frustrating to hear that requests and messages are going out under my name. FYI, I rarely send out friend requests, but I’m very grateful for the friends that have already reported shenanigans… Traveling to Washington D.C. this week to advocate for the sacred gift of water and missing & murdered Indigenous relatives. In the meantime, please ignore and/or report any suspicious activity.
