🇦🇱 Hurricane Nicole Forum 🇦🇱 ~ News Release: The City of Flagler Beach to host a Hurricane Nicole Information Forum for our Residents.
Do you want to know more about what happened in Flagler Beach during Hurricane Nicole? Do you have questions about flooding and want to learn about innovative flooding mitigation products for residents?
On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the City of Flagler Beach will be hosting a Hurricane Nicole Information Forum for residents to learn about Flagler Beach’s and Flagler County’s preparation and response to Hurricane Nicole. The event begins at 5:00 pm at Father O’Flaherty Parish Hall at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, which is located at 915 N Central Avenue, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
Between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., the City of Flagler Beach Departments and partner organizations will have informational tables for residents to visit and ask questions. The formal program will start at 6:00 pm. The program will include David King, Vice President & Business Unit Leader at Mead & Hunt to discuss flooding in Flagler Beach. Jonathan Lord, Flagler County Emergency Management Director, and William Whitson, Flagler Beach City Manager will also present among other speakers.
City Manager, William Whitson said about the forum, “Flagler Beach experienced two back-to-back hurricanes that brought significant challenges to the community. We look forward to gathering to hear feedback, answer questions, and share resources.”
