MOVING SALE!
Sunday, January 3. 10AM to 2PM
Stageloft Theater, 450A Main Street, Sturbridge, MA

If you haven't already heard, Stageloft is moving into storage short-term, while we find our new home in Sturbridge. We've got lots of items we simply can't pack up and take with us, so our loss could be your gain!

We'll be following social distancing rules for this sale - a limited number of people will be allowed in the building at once and everyone will be required to wear a face mask for entry.

Items for sale include furniture, housewares, fabric, curtains, appliances, a few tools & some old doors. Many of the items for sale are vintage. (PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT selling any of our theater equipment - lighting and sound equipment and sets are already in storage. The theater seats have already been sold.)

No reasonable offer will be refused. Please help us clean out the current building and raise some funds for our future needs!

To our dear Stageloft community. This has been a time of such sadness and loss on so many levels for so many people. It breaks my heart to share that our beloved Glanville clan is facing another loss and is in need of financial assistance to help cover the expenses of hospice care for Virginia. I know these are difficult times with so many out of work, but any amount you can share will help ease the financial burden now facing Dave Glanville, Greg Glanville and Anne Palmer as they prepare to lose such a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Thank you in advance for your generosity and for all the love, prayers and support I know you'll be sending to Dave, Greg, Anne, Shaun and Mikayla at this terrible time.

This is the new reality we are and will be dealing with. We absolutely will not reopen Stageloft until we're told it's safe to do so, but even after we are able reopen, will audiences want to come?

Half of D.C. theatregoers surveyed by Shugoll Research say health concerns would keep them away for a while, even after theatres reopen.

We're back with another STAGELOFT ARTIST REWIND! Today we shine the spotlight on the multi-talented Robert C Latino! With his diverse skill set, Rob has been a long-time standout at Stageloft: as a scenic artist, a performer, a technical wiz, a director, a master of specialty makeup and wigs, and much more - Rob does it all. Rob has performed in numerous productions at Stageloft (dating back further than I have photos to share.) In just the past few years he has appeared onstage in Kong's Night Out, The Spitfire Grill, Jake's Women, Bathroom Humor & The Boys Next Door. In that same time period he has also directed our productions of Murder at the Howard Johnson's, 7 Ways to Say I Love You, Sorry! Wrong Chimney! and provided light and sound design for many more! On top of all that, he's a really terrific guy and so much fun to work with! We can't wait to get back to the business of producing live theater again and collaborating with so many terrific people, like Rob. Today's STAGELOFT ARTIST REWIND shines the spotlight on Julia Elyse! Julia started performing at Stageloft in our youth productions. With many productions to her credit as a performer, Julia is also a mainstay of our youth production staff, having directed and/or choreographed many of our youth workshops over the past few years while she's also pursuing an advanced degree in theater education. Known for her sparkling stage presence, Julia's growth as a performer and leader since her first performance with us is a true success story. We're proud to have her as part of the Stageloft team and look forward to what the future holds for this bright, talented young woman. Do you have a favorite onstage Julia memory?

Today's STAGELOFT ARTIST REWIND shines the light on the multi-talented John Leslie! John is one of our favorite directors and performers here at Stageloft, having appeared onstage as Sr. Amnesia in Nunsense Amen! as Roger DeBris in The Producers, and in the one-man show Liberace! John also played double duty appearing as Del & as Music Director for 2018's Pete & Keely. In 2019, we were delighted to collaborate with John & J.E.M.S. Theater Co. on their superb production of The Light In The Piazza. We look forward to working with John again soon, in any capacity! What's your favorite onstage John Leslie memory?

Today's STAGELOFT ARTIST REWIND shines the spotlight on Juli McGourty! Julianne is an incredibly versitale actress who began appearing at Stageloft in our 2013 production of The Grapes of Wrath. Additional Stageloft roles include work both onstage and backstage, in addition to directing many Stageloft youth productions, and appearing in numerous productions with other local theater companies. A co-founder of Tieline Theater, Juli's performances never disappoint and she's always a joy to work with. Do you have a favorite Juli McGourty memory?
