Have you seen the fun new Chain Reaction shawl by Lyrical Knits? This is a fun mosaic knitting pattern (working with one color at a time and making a multi-color project).

Emma’s Yarn has some gorgeous kits available to ship directly to you. All kits are on our website - and there are some gorgeous color combinations available. The kits include a full skein and two half skeins of Practically Perfect sock.

The kits do not come with the pattern. There is an initial sale on the pattern that is available for just a few more days.

All kits are available in store and online. Which color combinations is your favorite? I am drawn to War Chant - but that may be the season.

We absolutely love a gorgeous variegated colorway. This poncho is made with Castle Nook from Polymorph Dyeworks - and we absolutely are in love with it every stitch we make. If you take a look - you can see the depth of color that was put into this colorway. The different colors you see are a surprise. We have this colorway available in both fi*****ng and DK weight. Make sure you take a look the next time you stop by.

Happy I love yarn day! Just sharing a few photos of a variety of yarn we have available in store. And to celebrate we are sharing photos of some of the gorgeous yarn we have in store.

Sharing photos of the Emma’s Yarn Hella Hanks - a blend of superwash, nylon and cashmere. Also showing the new to us Frabjous Fibers roving - including the fun tweed to the right. And then gorgeous Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Light in some neutral to pink tones. And the fun color changing Wonderland Yarn Blossoms. Our gorgeous display of Kelbourne Woolens Keystone. And finally the fun mini skeins of Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Light- this is a variety of bundles displayed together.

Have you seen our Keyhole Scarf by Purl Soho? The pattern calls for two colors of DK weight yarn to stripe throughout this scarf. The fun of the scarf was not only the fact you were knitting in the round - but that you make a little keyhole for your scarf - so you can easily wrap it around and it will not slide.

For our version I grabbed 4 balls of Isager Soft - which is a lovely alpaca and cotton blend yarn from Isager. The yarn is a cotton tube with alpaca blown into the tub - and the end result is gorgeous. This was a fun project - and I love the fact it will keep me warm while not moving.

This is a great project for a variety of yarns - which one would you grab for yours?

Is anyone else watching all the gorgeous project photos of the Malabrigo MKAl going on right now? I keep seeing all of these gorgeous Hygge shawls by Jill Tamminen - and I really want to cast one on!

We were able to secure some kits from Malabrigo to make the Hygge shawl - these two kits would be stunning for this project. Stop by and take a look in person - especially if you have been wanting to cast one on like me.

Have you seen Universal Yarn’s Saunter knit into a sock? Here is our current sock-in-progress with this yarn. We love how this self patterning yarn looks - with all the pattern and color changes. Saunter is made with a blend of Superwash, Polyamide and Bamboo - and is soft to the touch.

Anyone else love adding a little fluff - either mohair or suri silk to a project? This photo shows you a few of the colorways from Emma’s Yarn we have available in store.

I am currently working on a DK weight pattern and using a combination of sport weight yarn with a suri silk. The end result is super soft and gorgeous with the combination of colors.

Over the years we have made so many different projects - and we end up loving a lot of them. This is the Crosshatch Shawl from Cally Moster - and this was such a fun knit. The shawl is full of gorgeous texture made with slip stitches. The end result is absolutely stunning - and probably would have worked better with a different yarn. For our version we used a 100% cotton yarn - but the original pattern was made with Emma’s Yarn Drapey DK - a 70% superwash merino and 30% silk blend - which would have a lot more drape than our version.

One day we may make this one again - but you cannot deny the stitches look stunning in our 100% cotton version. We hope to see you soon.
