We just received two new “summer” yarns! Meet Etesia DK from Urth Yarns - a 77% cotton and 23% linen blend DK weight yarn. Each skein is 275 yards. The beautiful pale green skein is Etesia, I love how the color looks like two tones in the skein.

And we also have added Trill - a 80% merino and 20% linen blend fi*****ng weight yarn. Each skein is approximately 440 yards. The dark blue skein here is Trill - and you can see the linen flecks in the photo.

We cannot wait to have these yarns jump on our needles and hooks. What would you make with this yarn?

We absolutely love Kitty Bea Knitting which is hand dyes in small batches in Sarasota, Florida. We came across Kitty Bea Knitting yarn several years ago - and love her colorways. We just received a new to us yarn base - Manatee DK in these two gorgeous colorways - Stormy Sea and Hocus Pocus. We hope you love this yarn and these colorways as much as we do!

For those familiar with Kitty Bea Knitting yarns - we also restocked several favorite colorways as well.

Did you know that we have a Crochet Blanket Club going on this year? The class focuses on a making a 12 inch crochet square each month using a new stitch. Anyone can join in the fun at any time - you will just start with that month’s square. After making 12 squares you will join them to make a blanket. You can see each month’s squares at the shop.

For my version I am using Emma’s Yarn Crazy Beautiful Colorways each month. This is my January 2026 square - which has been slow going for me. I will need to find some time to work on my square - it has been so much fun. I cannot wait to cast on the other squares for my blanket.

We have just one of each of these LYS day bag sets in stock. These special LYS day sets have such cute drawings on them - they scream spring!!

And the best part - these snap bags are so useful and add to that these sets have different sized bags. I use my multi sized set for a large variety of projects or items - from holding notions, to holding mini skeins to a multi color project.

We are accepting pre-orders for this year’s Emma’s Yarn Smallidays sets. These sets are the Emma’s Yarn version of advent sets.

This year’s theme is Way Down on Kokomo. The inspiration is The Beach Boys hit song “Kokomo” of which the video was filmed at The Grand Floridian Resort in Walt Disney World. The inspiration for this set is a day at the beach or island colorways perfect to bring a little sunshine into the winter months.

Available on either Practically Perfect Sock, Simply Spectacular DK or a new to this set Seashell Sparkle Sock. You can purchase the set either through our online store or in person.

We love seeing what other makers have made with yarn. This is the Summer Court Tank by Dragon Hoard Designs. We fell in love with this tank a few years ago when we saw it made with yarn from Bound in Wool. We made a few at the time - but we never made one for the shop to have as a sample.

We are thrilled to have one made with Dream in Color Smooshy yarn in the colorway My Fair Lady. This gorgeous multicolor yarn is perfect for our Summer Court Tank.

Make sure you take a look the next time you stop by. This is one of those fun projects you may make over and over again. We hope to see you soon.

With the Malabrigo KAL ending we wanted to share our completed Orienta by Cory Boberg. We grabbed Malabrigo Sock in the color white and two skeins of Malabrigo Ultimate Sock in the color Arapey for our version. We love the end result.
