Цей день нагадує нам про незламну силу духу українського народу — силу, яка гартується у випробуваннях, але ніколи не здається. Ми пишаємося тим, що є частиною нації, яка вміє боротися за свою свободу, захищати рідну землю та відстоювати правду навіть у найважчі часи.

🇺🇦 Registration Is Now Open!

Thank you for your patience while we work through all the logistics and prepare for the new school year!

Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana welcomes children ages 3–17 at all levels of Ukrainian proficiency—from complete beginners to fluent speakers.

📍 Location: Carmel High School
📅 Classes begin: Sunday, September 20, 2026
⏰ Time: Sundays, 2:00–4:00 p.m.
🍂 Fall semester: 11 Sundays
📚 Classes will continue through May. A complete calendar with all class dates will be provided to registered families.

🎁 We are preparing a special cultural welcome experience for registered students and their families on the first Sunday, September 20!

Subjects and Activities

* Ukrainian language
* Reading and writing
* Ukrainian history
* Ukrainian geography
* Arts and crafts
* Music and singing
* Ukrainian traditions and holidays
* Ukrainian dance
* STEAM projects connected to Ukraine
* Cultural activities and special programs

Some Sundays will include one lesson, while most will include two lessons. Parents and students will be informed of the schedule in advance.

Children ages 3–5 will generally attend one lesson each Sunday. During preparation for performances, parents may be asked to stay with their children for two lessons.

Fall Semester Tuition

* First child: $275
* Second child: $200
* Third child: $150

Families may pay the full semester tuition at registration or divide it into three installments.

Near the end of the fall semester, registered families will receive detailed information about the number of classes and tuition for the spring semester.

💙 The camp may have come to an end, but our journey is just beginning! 🌻

We hope everyone is still smiling after four unforgettable days at the very first Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana Summer Camp! Seeing the children’s laughter, curiosity, new friendships, and love for learning reminded us why this school was created.

Now we’re excited to begin the next chapter—our very first school year this September!

As we continue preparing for opening day, we kindly ask families who are interested in enrolling their children to complete our School Interest Form (if you haven’t already). At this stage, we are simply trying to estimate the number of students so we can thoughtfully plan our classrooms, teachers, and learning activities.

If you have already completed the Interest Form, thank you! There is no need to fill it out again.

Please note that this is not the official registration. Registration forms, schedules, school dates, payment information, and other important details will be shared a little later as we finalize all of the preparations.

Our the most incredibly talented hosts prepared this special Day 4 recap for us!

These four days flew by unbelievably fast. Our campers had an amazing time together, filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments. Along the way, they built new friendships and created memories they will cherish for years to come.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Stecenko from Passione Wood Owen and Pizza Wings
for welcoming our campers so warmly, giving them the opportunity to create their own pizzas, and treating everyone to a delicious dessert at the end. You truly made the children feel right at home.

A very special thank you to Michael VoskoboynikMichael for once again creating these wonderful daily video recaps. Thanks to your dedication, our families will always have these beautiful memories to look back on.

While it’s hard to say goodbye, it’s only for a little while. We can’t wait to see everyone again when our Ukrainian school starts lessons this fall!

We had another amazing Day 3 of camp! 💙💛

We started by recapping what we did yesterday, continued singing Ukrainian songs, and then traveled to Ukraine.

It was one of those goosebump moments when the kids (and parents too!) started pointing to places on the map and recalling where they had lived, which streets they walked, which kindergarten or school they attended, churches, castles, and other special places they had visited. It felt like, for a moment, the whole room traveled back into those warm memories. The children were able to ask questions and hear wonderful stories about those places. Even our campers who have never been to Ukraine were able to travel, learn, and experience their friends’ homeland through their memories.

Thank you, Michael Voskoboynik, for making that happen.

Later, Pani Oksana Hlushchenko brightened our day with fun games about Ukraine and helped the children make sunflowers and a stork (лелека). The stork has a very special meaning in Ukraine. It is one of Ukraine’s national symbols and holds deep cultural significance as a symbol of peace, family, hope, and home. We encourage you to read the stories about storks during the war in Ukraine—you will be touched and amazed by them.

Oksana also left a special treat for the kids.

The children also made beautiful sunflowers using real sunflower seeds, and the remaining seeds will be used for tomorrow’s project… just a little sneak peek into tomorrow! 🌻 Thank you so much, Oksana, for your time and dedication. You have left many special memories in our campers’ hearts.

Our campers worked so hard throughout these three days and proudly presented a wonderful dance performance to their parents and all of our special guests. Thank you so much, Zhanna Sinitsyna, for all your hard work, patience, and dedication in preparing the children.

Thank you to all of our parents and volunteers Allanhyia Hall, Olya Mangusheva, Alina Girs, Oksana Girs Bussell for your time, support, and dedication.

We could go on and on describing everything we did today, but we think the kids have done it so much better. ❤️ We will simply let them share their own memories and experiences!

Were you patiently waiting for our Ukrainian Summer Camp Day 2 news? 🇺🇦✨

Here it is!

A heartfelt thank you to Andrii Goruk for his engaging history lesson, Zhanna Sinitsyna for another energetic dance class (we’re convinced that if adults had even 1% of the kids’ energy, we could fly to the Moon! 🚀😄), and as always big thank you Michael Voskoboynik for his interactive technology lessons, organizing a special meeting with our friends in Ukraine, and creating another wonderful daily video recap!

We were also excited to welcome new campers on Day 2, and everyone had an amazing time learning, creating, dancing, and making new friendships.

A sincere thank you to all of our parents and volunteers, Vira Kovalevych for helping make this camp possible. Your support, time, and dedication mean so much to our children and our community.

🎉🇺🇦 The very first exciting day of our inaugural Summer Pilot Camp is here! 💙💛

What an unforgettable start to this incredible journey! Our campers enjoyed a day filled with learning, creativity, laughter, new friendships, and the joy of celebrating Ukrainian culture together.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful parents for trusting us with your children and supporting this special initiative.

We are deeply grateful to our amazing volunteers, whose dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work made today such a success. Your time and generosity truly made a difference.

A very special thank you to Iryna Bondar for inspiring our campers through her wonderful art presentation and workshop, and to Iryna Patzer for sharing her baking talents and creating such a memorable experience for the children. Thank you to Sinitsyna for teaching the kids dance and bringing so much energy and joy.

A huge thank you to Michael Voskoboynik for leading an engaging lesson about Ukraine, sharing music and singing with the campers, and creating this beautiful video recap that captured the joy, excitement, and unforgettable moments of our very first day.

We’ve been immersed in preparations and activities over the last several months and, as promised, are excited to announce the very first Summer Camp hosted by Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana!

Our Summer Camp features a rich and engaging program designed to immerse children in Ukrainian culture, traditions, creativity, technology, and learning.

One exciting sneak peek of the camp experience is the opportunity to virtually travel through Ukraine and explore the beauty, history, traditions, and regions of our homeland through interactive activities and modern technology.

Our Pilot Summer Camp will take place July 13–16 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Age Group: 7–12 years old

If your child is 6 years old and is independent and comfortable attending without a parent present, they may also register and attend the camp. If your child is younger than 6 years old but you would still love for them to experience the Ukrainian environment and participate in our camp, at least one parent’s presence will be required throughout the camp period.

Price:
• $135 for one child
• $100 for a sibling

A special highlight of the final camp day will be a field trip to Passione Wood Oven Pizza, where campers will make their own pizza and enjoy a special Ukrainian-themed treat and cultural experience.

Наш літній табір пропонує насичену та захопливу програму, створену для того, щоб занурити дітей в українську культуру, традиції, творчість, технології та навчання.

Однією з особливостей табору стане можливість віртуально подорожувати Україною та відкривати для себе красу, історію, традиції й регіони нашої Батьківщини через інтерактивні заняття та сучасні технології.

Наш пілотний літній табір відбудеться 13–16 липня з 9:30 до 13:30.

Вікова група: 7–12 років

Якщо вашій дитині 6 років і вона є самостійною та комфортно почувається без присутності батьків, вона також може бути зареєстрована та відвідувати табір.
