Attention Facebook World, this Saturday we come together to hold a very special Facebook Live. Parker is the niece of Jacob from Norwich Royals and is in need of some assistance to help save her hearing. At just eight years old Parker is a budding artist and with the help of uncle and grandma has created 6 original pieces of art for us to sell for her. Along with the Fae’s Artist community coming together with donations. All proceeds will go directly to her family.

I am excited to share that my collage piece ‘Moving Forward; Lessons Through Illumination’ has been accepted into a juried art show at the Ignite Studio here in Fishers! The show runs from October 25th thru January 9th, 2026. The theme is Layered, and my piece fits in many ways. It’s my second large collage piece and has a lot of personal meaning to me. My art starts with an upcycled base like a canvas or a doll and it grows from there, based on the vibe I’m going for. The women’s faces are taken from magazines from the early 1950’s when women’s rights were far from what we have today, and my grandmother would’ve been around their ages at that time. My grandmother was amazing and kind while she lived and remains a badass in spirit after she has left this world. I placed the broken mirror pieces over the eyes to remind us of what our grandmothers would have wanted for themselves, and their daughters, and their daughters after them. It’s so important that we don’t forget where we came from and how hard we fought to get here. The jewelry and sparkle that you see is a reminder that through all the things that we survive, there is beauty in the lessons we take with us. Sending you all love. M
