Initial auditions for Seussical Jr. have concluded and callbacks will begin next week Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 24th and 25th) from 3:30-5:30pm in the Choir Room! There was an incredible amount of talent shown this year at auditions! Please keep in mind that Mrs. Tripp and Ms. Bondeson have several very hard decisions to make about the final cast, and that they’ll do their best to award everyone a role that will showcase their own unique talents. An awesome performance begins with the great attitude you bring to callbacks and to every rehearsal! Be kind to your fellow actors, embrace your character with positivity and a willingness to learn, help others do their best, and proudly represent Gibraltar’s theater program at home and in the community!

Some shots from our fabulous and fun cast party at Grasse’s Grill! I have to say that hearing almost all the cast sing out the songs of the show one final time made me tear up! Seeing them happy makes me enormously joyful. What a wonderful end to our big weekend! PS: Don’t forget to meet in the auditorium Tuesday for our clean up and strike down! Thank you all for such a amazing time!

Dear middle school play participants:

We did it! Another middle school play production has ended...but what a production it was! Mrs. Bondeson and I couldn’t thank you enough for choosing to bring your talent, enthusiasm, and positive energy to The Little Mermaid Jr. We hope that whatever is next in your futures, that you all will look upon the these last three days with pride and happiness. Hi parents!

Tonight's performance went...SWIMMINGLY! I heard so many compliments and everyone was impressed with the talent we had on stage. However, there are a few things that we could work on to make Saturday and Sunday's shows even better! Therefore, we'd like ALL CAST MEMBERS to show up at the auditorium tomorrow at 4 O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON. The extra hour that gives us should be plenty to polish the few tiny things we'd like to work on.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED OUT! THIS SHOW IS NOT POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOU!

OH! AND IF YOU HAVE PHOTOS FROM TONIGHT (OR TOMORROW OR SUNDAY) PLEASE SHARE THEM WITH ME! I create a slideshow to show the kids at the cast party and I also post it online to celebrate our performances! THANKS AGAIN!

SEE YOU ALL AT 4 O'CLOCK TOMORROW AFTERNOON!
